During the next month, numerous reports will broadcast that we can expect to have one of the worst flu epidemics in history. There will be reports of possible school closings, restricted air travel, and many deaths associated with the flu. All of these messages are fed to the mass media to scare you into believing you need to get a flu shot.
Every year, flu vaccine manufacturers earn a hefty profit on the some 80-100 million vaccines they manufacture and the entire industry has become a cash cow for vaccine manufacturers such as Chiron. The average cost per dose is $10—$15 for the vaccine. This means Chiron could stand to add 1.5 billion dollars to their bottom line every year by scaring the public into mass inoculations. Moreover, the CDC and various government health facilities help to perpetuate the farce on the American public.
This year, Chiron already reported in a CNN story on September 29, 2004 that they have concerns about the safety of their vaccine because some batches of been found to contain impurities. Moreover, they have lost up to 4 million doses for this reason.
Last year, health officials at the CDC stated they had made a mistake in determining the viral ingredients for the 2003-2004 vaccine and it would offer no protection for the flu virus that most people were contracting. However, they still pushed people to get a flu shot. This made no sense!
There are many reasons to not get a flu shot and let’s examine the ingredients for the first reason:
These are the ingredients taken from the inserts that come with the vaccines
VAXIGRIP (r) [Inactivated Influenza Vaccine Trivalent Types A and B (Split Virion)], for intramuscular use, is a sterile suspension prepared from influenza viruses propagated in chicken embryos. The virus-containing fluids are harvested and the virus inactivated with formaldehyde and purified by zonal centrifugation. The virus is then chemically disrupted using Polyethylene Glycol p-isooctylphenyl Ether (Triton (r) X-100) producing a “splitantigen”. The split antigen is suspended in sodium phosphate-buffered, isotonic sodium chloride solution. The type and amount of viral antigens contained in VAXIGRIP (r) conform to the current requirements of the World Health Organization (WHO). VAXIGRIP (r) also contains Triton (r) X-100 and trace amounts of sucrose and neomycin (an antibiotic)
Fluzone is supplied in two unit dose preservative-free presentations distinguished by a pink syringe plunger rod: a 0.25 mL prefilled syringe (for pediatric use) and a 0.5 mL prefilled syringe; both are formulated without preservatives but contain a trace amount of thimerosal [(contains 49.6% mercury), (≤ 0.5 µg Hg/0.25 mL dose) (≤ 1.0 µg Hg/0.5 mL dose)] from the manufacturing process. Fluzone is also supplied in two other presentations: a 0.5 mL prefilled syringe and 5 mL vial of vaccine, of which both contain the preservative thimerosal [(mercury containing compound), 25 µg mercury/0.5 mL dose]. Fluzone, after shaking syringe/vial well, is essentially clear and slightly opalescent in color.
The flu vaccinations contain two extremely dangerous chemicals for the human body: Formaldehyde and Mercury. Formaldehyde is a known cancer causing agent and mercury is a known poison to the brain. These chemicals can cause a strong damaging reaction within the immune system and the nervous system and may lead to the development of autoimmune disorders such as Guillan Barre syndrome, a disease that resembles Multiple Sclerosis.
The second reason you don’t want a flu vaccine is because it will not protect you from the flu. Every year the CDC recommends flu vaccine manufacturers put in 3 viral strains they guess might be the most common infections for the flu season. However, there are thousands of flu virus possibilities every winter you can contact. Taking a flu vaccine is like throwing a dart at a dart board and then determining you are maybe protected for viral strains that represent the tip of the dart on the board. However, if the entire board represents all the viral strains you are susceptible to then you don’t have very much protection, do you?
And the final reason you don’t want a flu shot is probably the most important reason, YOU’VE ALREADY GOT A NATURAL PROTECTIVE MEDICINE CABINET IN YOUR BODY ALREADY! You have a dynamic immune system with white blood cells that can attack and fight off the flu virus so either you don’t get the flu or you fight the flu off. If you do get the flu, your immune system becomes stronger and you are the benefactor. Various studies has shown that when we fight off infections using our natural immunity, we are protected from other serious life threatening diseases such as cancer.

There is another side to this story and you must decide for yourself if you trust the media and the proponents or do you trust yourself. If you want more information concerning the proponents side of this controversy you may visit the Centers for Disease Control website and read the alarming statistics they give concerning the flu and realize they are part of the scare to hook you into believing you need a flu shot. Most of the people, they quote as dying from the flu actually contracted the flu secondary to another disease for which they were battling. The flu was only acting in an opportunistic way and was not the sole reason for their death. Statistics can be misleading!
