Parker Seminar Las Vegas

It’s Parker Seminar Las Vegas week, time to get excited. Whether you’re planning to visit 2015 Parker for one day or the entire week, seeing everything that this industry trade show has to offer is a daunting mission for any seasoned Chiropractor. As Parker Seminars veterans for over ten years, we’ve learned a few tricks to surviving the show floor that will maximize your experience.

  1. Be Early and Plan Ahead

Don’t wait till Thursday at 8:30am to pick up your registration badge before your first seminar. Doors open at 7am, so be early. With over 2,500 doctors schedule to attend it can take some time to get through the pick up process. Use the time to plan your next few days in advance. With over 30 speakers and 12 affiliate tracks scheduled for this year’s seminar, we suggest you sit down and schedule your day out. Here is a list of the Parker speakers and a list of the Affiliate-Partner-Schedule.

Parker Seminars Las Vegas 2015

  1. Bring Your Parker Survival Kit

Don’t forget to pack certain seminar necessities that will help you survive the long days. We’ve found that it’s important to stock up on healthy snacks for the days. Some years we would even bring a chest full of veggies to sustain you throughout the day.  One favorite that we never leave home without is our favorite receipe of  homemade “Joy” LaraBars. These little guys pack a punch a energy and are super healthy. Don’t forget updated business cards, notepads, pens,  mints, fruit, and water. When you you are going back to back seminars all day followed by “working lunches” from vendors such as Standard Process and Chirotouch it’s important you stay stocked up.

  1. Don’t Forget Your Tablet

chiropractor-app-development-slide3Twelve hours a day for three days: That is the average of what most attendees will spend listening to speakers, cruising the expo or just hanging out with others at the event. With this amount of time invested we suggest you be sure to bring your laptop to capture all those notes and value bombs. This year Parker is offering free Wi Fi to all attendees and there will be multiple charge stations on hand to keep you juiced up and ready to go.

  1. Work the Seminar Floor

There’s no better way to utilize your free time between sessions than to jump over to the expo and capitalize on the great networking opportunities available to you. With over 300 companies slated to be displaying, it’s a great time to check out your favorite companies and also to browse the next big thing to hit the chiropractic profession. Exchange business cards, contact information, and develop lasting professional relationships with colleagues and businesses from around the globe!

Bonus: Parker Bucks are given to each registered DC and CA attendee (and can be earned throughout the seminar) and can be applied to your expo or conference purchase. Use $10 Parker Bucks toward each $100 vendor purchase to lower your cost!

Brainfood-What-Every-Traveler-Should

  1. Brainfood

We are in Las Vegas and chances are that you will be spending a good amount of time indoors. Be sure to hydrate yourself well. Not only does water increase energy and reduce fatigue but also is great for those early morning sessions after a night of experiencing all of what Las Vegas has to offer. “When your brain is functioning on a full reserve of water, you will be able to think faster, be more focused, and experience greater clarity and creativity.”

Need a coffee break? Looking for a little pick-me-up between sessions? Refreshments are available in the expo during all breaks, and coffee is available all day. Grab a cup or two with new friends and colleagues as you plan out the rest of your day!

  1. Don’t Be Shy

You are about to to be surrounded by over 2,500 doctors, CA’s, students and chiropractic advocates: Meet one another. Not only is Parker a great place to get some of continuing education requirements knocked out, but it’s a incredible networking opportunity.

Since most, if not all courses being taught this year are interactive, use this opportunity to meet others. You may just be amazed at the connections you will make this week that could last a lifetime.

  1. Say Hi to Us

Lastly, be sure to say Hi to the Circle of Docs team as you see us around. We will be filming interviews, podcasts and covering some of the speakers, but mostly we get stoked by meeting you! Circle of Docs is all about one community to continue to elevate the Chiropractic profession, so please stop us and say hi.

We are looking forward to a incredible event this year, are you?  What other tips or suggestions do you have for first time Parker attendees?
